Scheduling conflicts and budgets can make it difficult to attend off-site conferences and seminars like AIHce — but that shouldn’t mean you miss out on the valuable education and inspiring keynotes available at AIHce EXP every year. What if there was a way for you to save money but still get the high-quality education you’re looking for from the comfort of your home or office?
That’s where Virtual AIHce EXP comes in!
Colleen Manning, the program director of eLearning at AIHA, and her team have been working hard to finalize the 2019 virtual program for those who won’t be able to join us in Minneapolis. Since this is her fourth Virtual AIHce EXP, she knows what it takes to create a well-rounded, diverse program.
The Virtual AIHce EXP offers a robust online program, including the ability to watch the opening keynote with Carey Lohrenz live. Oh, and did we mention access to exclusive interviews with presenters, sponsors, and special guests?
“Folks have told us that they appreciate being able to do their professional development in a way that still allows them to keep up with the responsibilities at home and at work,” said Manning. “Participants also like that they can chat with each other and comment throughout the live sessions — you can’t really do that in person without disrupting the room.”
So, how was this year’s virtual agenda selected? The sessions selected cover 16 different topics and tracks, which mirrors the in-person experience as much as possible. By taking in attendee feedback, Virtual AIHce EXP tries to remain true to typical behavior of those on-site: attending quality sessions, informal networking opportunities, learning more from select speakers and influencers through personal conversation, and impromptu sidebar discussions with fellow peers about topics they care about.
It’s not just about the education tracks and the professional development courses that are a part of the virtual experience. Manning also said, “We’re looking at ways we can bring more of the expo hall experience, as well as reworking the Happy Hour Chats to a more topic-focused discussion.”
Be sure to check out the full programming for the Virtual AIHce EXP 2019 on our website, and register today. Don’t forget that the keynote will be available only in real time — you won’t want to miss it!
We can’t wait to see you online!
